Pro-golfer Mike Weir knows quite a bit about miracles.
The first ever Canadian to win the Masters took our country by storm more than decade ago and Monday, he’s continuing to make a difference off the course.
The Mike Weir Miracle Golf Drive for Kids gets underway Monday morning in a two day tournament at Silver Springs Golf Course, with all proceeds going to the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Since 2007, the event, in partnership with the Children’s Miracle Network, has raised nearly $5-million for pediatric care, innovative programs, and research for kids.
More than 100 people are registered for Monday’s fundraiser.
