Flames fall to Anaheim in Game 4, Ducks lead series 3-1

Sean Monahan and Micheal Ferland both scored for the Calgary Flames in the first period, but it wasn’t enough.

The Flames fell 4-2 to the Anaheim Ducks on Friday night.

Frederik Andersen made 25 saves, and Jakob Silfverberg, Andrew Cogliano, Matt Beleskey and Patrick Maroon scored for the Ducks.

Karri Ramo stopped 25 of 28 shots for Calgary.

Anaheim cashed in on their chances on the power play, going 2 for 4, while the Flames couldn’t capitalize with the man advantage, failing to score on both of their chances.

The Flames now trail 3-1 in the best-of-seven, and hope to end their horrific streak in Anaheim on Sunday.

Calgary has not won a game at Honda Center since 2006.

Game 5 is at 8 P.M. on Sportsnet West and Sportsnet 960 The Fan.
