Traffic investigators believe speed and alcohol were factors when an out-of-control BMW ran off a Southwest road and rolled late Tuesday night.
The vehicle became airborne off Crowchild Trail near 50th Avenue S.W. at around 11:30 p.m., ejecting two of the people inside, and landing right side up on the boulevard.
According to police, the 21-year-old man driving as well as a 20-year-old woman suffered “major injuries”.
Two 20-year-old men who were wearing seat-belts were also seriously injured when they became trapped in the vehicle.
