A new motorcycle safety and maintenance training program is starting up at SAIT.
Project coordinator Seamus Toner told 660News that the program will teach riders a wide range of skills including braking techniques and safety and emergency response maneuvers.
“By taking a safety course,” he said, “Statistically you certainly improve your odds and skills and response in the case of an emergency situation.”
The classes take place at SAIT’s Art Smith Aero Centre and use its 1.5 acre training lot.
Those interested can sign up on SAIT’s website.
