Senator Doug Black stops in Alberta during his cross country tour on energy resources

Senator Doug Black has made his way to Alberta in his cross country tour speaking with Canadians about our energy resources.
While he was in Edmonton Friday, he stressed the importance of getting everyone involved when addressing pipeline concerns.
“At the end of the day we need the pipelines because they need to continue prosperity. But, I’m saying pretty strongly in my remarks that we are not going to get these pipelines until we start involving aborginal, first nation communities,” says Black.
He also addressed changes that need to be made in order to recharge Alberta’s struggling economy.
