Calgary police have arrested two suspects after a late night shooting spree.
They say a couple of men were driving around in a truck taking potshots at vehicles, apparently mainly in the northeast.
Then, around 1:20 Sunday morning, a resident called to report his car had been hit in the 5700 block of 8 Ave N.E.
HAWCS took to the air and tracked the vehicle.
Ground units converged on two men in a truck at 68 Street and 16 Ave N.E. and took them into custody without incident.
Officers found a .22 calibre rifle in the vehicle.
Charges are pending.
