Welterweight contenders meet at Flames Central ahead of Vegas world title fight

A couple of UFC rivals are making a stop in Calgary before heading to Vegas for what’s being billed one of the biggest fights of the decade.
Welterweight champion Robbie Lawler and the division’s no. 2 contender, Canada’s own, Rory MacDonald are scheduled to visit Flames Central Wednesday afternoon — promoting ther world title fight at the MGM Grand this summer.
The free Calgary event starts at noon.
The UFC 189 World Tour Fan Fare will do a free Q&A session and autograph signing.
The World Title fight goes July 11th — capping off International Fight Week.
