Passerby discovers body of a woman in Calgary’s beltline

Calgary police are investigating after a body was found Sunday afternoon.
A passerby made the gruesome discovery in the 900 block of 9th Avenue S.W. around 1:30 p.m.
Duty Inspector Steve Adiar tells 660News, “On our arrival we located a deceased female,” adding the scene was contained to what he believed was a parkade.
A cause of death is not known.
The medical examiner has been called in to help aid in the investigation.
