It seems there are quite a lot of people turning to online quips in response to the premier’s comments Wednesday.
When fielding a question, Jim Prentice indicated that all Albertans are responsible for getting the province into a financial mess and everyone has to help clean it up.
His comments were in relation to a statement that, in order to keep Alberta competitive, he would not be raising taxes on corporations.
Prentice has said the government will table a radical and far-reaching budget and long-term financial plan later this month.
A number of people have taken issue with what appears to be a statement placing the blame for the Province’s economic problems on every day Albertans.
The hashtag #PrenticeBlamesAlbertans was not only trending on Twitter in Calgary Wednesday, but in Canada as well.
