Report on GSA hearings to be released

The results of a public consultation on gay straight alliances will be released Tuesday night.
The Rocky Mountain Civil Liberties Association will be making its report public at its annual general meeting in Calgary.
The hearings took place in both Edmonton and our city in January with public presentations and written submissions.
The idea was to explore how human rights may be addressed by GSA legislation in Alberta.
Presenting the results will be Austin Bender, who received the Governor General’s Canadian Caring award for founding a GSA at Springbank Community High School.
