Flames trade Baertschi

The Calgary Flames made a late more on NHL trade deadline day.

They sent Sven Baertschi to the Vancouver Canucks for a second round draft pick. Baertschi played 15 games with the Flames this year, putting up four assists.

The deal follows Sunday’s trade of veteran Curtis Glencross to Washington for second and third round picks.

No other moves from Calgary, but some of the key deals include Ben Lovejoy heading to Pittsburgh and Olli Jokinen Leaving Toronto for St. Louis.
