Turn the clocks back Sunday

The clocks fall back one hour early this Sunday which will make the mornings a little lighter, but evenings shorter.

Ryerson University Sleep Expert Dr. Colleen Carney says we could all use that extra hour of sleep.

“Gaining an extra hour of sleep is a good thing this time of year in the sense we are typically a little sleep deprived.  Every little bit helps,” she said.

Canada is one of 78 countries that participate in daylight saving time.

We’ll spring forward next March.
