Charges pending against a man driving impaired with six children in the vehicle

A 21-year-old Saskatchewan man is facing multiple charges.
He was pulled over Friday driving 149 kilometers per hour east bound on Highway-1 near Suffield, northwest of Medicine Hat.
Redcliff RCMP determined the man was impaired, and arrested him. He had six children in the vehicle between the ages of 8-months and 9-years-old.
One of those children was not wearing a seat belt, in the back of the van.
Charges of impaired driving, driving with a blood alcohol concentration over .08, and criminal negligence are pending against the driver.
RCMP and Family Services continue to investigate.
