Experts wondering if in-vitro clinics should be better regulated

It’s a call for more regulation for fertility programs.

It comes after a Calgary doctor refused a woman sperm from a person who wasn’t of the same race.

Now medical officials from across the country are condemning the process.

University of Toronto professor Dr. Colleen Flood told The Globe and Mail she thinks people who are seeking this kind of treatment are very vulnerable and any clinic that refused to mix races should become the subject of a complaint to the Provincial College of Physicians and Nurses.
