Calgarians injured in B.C. crash

A Calgary family has been left with minor injuries following a scary crash between their camper van and a police cruiser.

It happened Tuesday afternoon in Aldergrove, a community in Langley, B.C.

The RCMP officer driving the cruiser had just turned on his lights and siren to respond to an emergency call when he collided with the van carrying four people.

All parties were rushed to hospital and have since been released.

B.C.’s Independent Investigations Office is now looking into the matter and is hoping to provide an sometime Wednesday.
