Greenpeace cries foul over Alberta billboards

Greenpeace says a double standard is at work with regards to billboards in Alberta.

The group says its ad on solar energy was rejected in Edmonton while in Calgary, a billboard denying that humans have an impact on climate change is up.

The group says it had a deal two years ago with billboard company Pattison Outdoor to display the Edmonton ad.

It believes Pattison didn’t want to offend oil industry advertisers.

Pattison did not return calls seeking comment.
