Cowtown’s housing market among the most pricey on the continent

Calgary has one of the most expensive housing markets in all of North America.

The National Post reports, Calgary is number six in a listing of steep average home prices, with Vancouver claiming the top spot.

The average home in Calgary sells for $400,000 American, and in Vancouver that figure is somewhere around $733,000 U.S.

And it looks like Canadians are just getting more competitive.

A new bmo poll finds 34 per cent of canadians are willing to enter an all out bidding war to get a property, that’s a 21 per cent increase from a year ago!
