Death rate drops in winter car crashes

There is one good thing about a snowy day: you are less likely to be killed in a car crash.

The National Transportation Safety Administration in the U.S. says statistics show you are half as likely to die in a car crash in a blizzard than you are on a nice sunny day.

Experts say that could be because drivers slow down in bad weather and there are fewer cars on the road.

The worst weather condition for fatal crashes is fog.
