Kurt Cobain mural planned for side of building at downtown Aberdeen intersection

ABERDEEN, Wash. – A new mural in downtown Aberdeen will commemorate Kurt Cobain and his time growing up around Grays Harbor.

KBKW reports (http://bit.ly/174Z5Tk ) artist Erik Sandgren told the city council Wednesday night he was excited about the project.

The Cobain mural will be on the side of a building, at the corner of Wishkah and Broadway.

The Nirvana front man killed himself in 1994 at his home in Seattle.
