Canadians love shopping online

Canadians love to buy with the click of a mouse.
According to a poll for Ebates.ca, 77 per cent of Canadians say they have made an online purchase in the past year and 32 per cent report spending more online in the last 12 months than in previous years.
Adrienne Down-Coulson, the general manager of Ebates.ca says she’s not surprised.
“To us it’s pretty obvious, because we’ve been growing like crazy and we see more and more retailers coming online for Canadians; charging Canadian dollars instead of US dollars finally — and also starting to offer better shipping prices. So, that seems to make a big difference for people,” she says.
One-third of the people polled say they prefer shopping online because of exclusive items and convenience.
