Rodeo raising cash for flood recovery

A rodeo benefit is hoping to rope in more money to help flood victims in Calgary.

The Hell or High Water Charity Rodeo is takes place September 21 and 22 at the Millarville Race Track, with a goal of raising $100,000.

Rod McBeth, President of Hell or High Water Limited, which is awaiting official charitable status, tells The Calgary Sun they want to help those who may have fallen through the cracks.

The invitational rodeo will include bareback riding, steer wrestling, bull riding and more, with a $30,000 purse.

The event will also include a silent auction and 50/50 draw.
