Private landlords help homeless

Private landlords are working with non-profit groups in Calgary to find stable housing for the homeless.
The Calgary Residential Rental Association is asking its members to make available 500 units for clients over the next year.
Calgary’s rental market already sits at 1.2 per cent, but is expected to get even tighter as people displaced by flood search for new places to live.
Executive Director of the Calgary Urban Project Society, Carlene Donnelly, tells The Calgary Herald we haven’t yet seen the full impact of the flood.
