CPS lay fraud related charges against Toronto man

A Toronto man is facing fraud charges following a lengthy on-line investigation by Calgary police.

It’s alleged between July 2012 and this past January, the man posed a both a realtor and a ticket agent then bilked cash from unsuspecting people for fictional accommodation and tickets.

Giancarlo Inadoli, 23, is facing a number of fraud and theft charges and is also accused of using some other aliases including Carlos Keppinger, Franco Scavuzzo, Chris Werner as well as Justin and Tristen Risso.

Police say the victims did have something in common, all needed the accommodation or ticket quickly and were pressured to hand over the money even when they felt uncomfortable to do so.

There are other similar investigations taking place throughout Canada involving Inadoli.

Iandoli has been released on bail and his next court appearance is March 14th.
