Woman hit by two cars dies in N.W.

Police are seeking one driver after a woman was struck and killed in the northwest Wednesday morning.
An Asian woman in her 50’s was struck by as many as two vehicles at the intersection of Sandstone Drive and Berkshire Boulevard just before 7 a.m.
A man turned himself in and has been arrested with charges pending. The vehicle he was driving at the time, a red Ford Taurus station wagon has been seized.
The other car is described as a a dark-coloured sedan with damage to the lower part of the front bumper.
Investigators also say the woman was in a crosswalk at the time, but when she was hit, she was thrown at least 50 metres.
The victim has been identified and investigators are notifying her family.
