Police have testified they found the DNA of the man accused in a 2001 murder on two items in Corrine Belanger’s house.
An RCMP crime lab analyst says they compared DNA on a flashlight and duct tape found in the home to a cigarette butt they seized from the murder suspect.
Barry David Brown is charged with first degree murder in Belanger’s shooting death.
Testimony in the case continues Wednesday.
