Three Calgarians on Top Chef Canada

Top Chef Canada is coming back for a third season, and there’s going to be a whole lot of Calgary flavour.

For the first time, three chefs from this city will be competing.

Chef Geoff Rogers, formerly of Home Tasting Room, now at MARKET on 17 Ave. will go up against Chris Shaften of The Ranche Restaurant and catering company owner and chef Nicole Gomes.

Last season, Calgary’s Xavier Lacaze finished in the top 5 and in the first season, Connie DeSousa of Charcut Roast House was runner up.

Top Chef Canada premieres at 7 p.m. MT March 18 on Food Network Canada.
