Police have one person in custody following a disturbance on a northeast LRT platform that left three people with apparent slash wounds.

Duty Inspector Keith Kane tells 660News police were called to the Bridgeland-Memorial Station around 12:30 a.m. Sunday where they found the victims.

Kane says all three people were taken to hospital, one of them with serious injuries.

The platform was quite busy at the time of the incident so police are interviewing multiple witnesses.

Investigators are still verifying if there was only one attacker, or if there are more suspects involved.

Charges have not been laid.
