Calgary’s police chief is weighing in on a YouTube video that allegedly shows three cop cruisers street racing.

Chief Rick Hanson says it’s hard to judge if the officers did anything wrong, but the matter is being investigated.

The video shows two marked cruisers and one unmarked car waiting at a traffic light and racing off to a Tim Horton’s when the light turns green.

Hanson says he can’t be sure, but it appears two of the cars in the video weren’t going more than 50 km/h.

Hanson tells The Calgary Sun investigators are looking closely at the officer who was driving the third vehicle, and determining if he did anything unsafe or against the law.
