Oprah in Edmonton ahead of Calgary show

Oprah Winfrey is in Edmonton Monday ahead of her much-anticipated event in Calgary Tuesday night.

The talk show queen will be giving an evening speech in Alberta’s capital before heading to our city.

“An Evening With Oprah” at the Saddledome will have Oprah share inspirational stories from her long career and include a question and answer session.

The Calgary Herald reports the CBC’s George Stroumboulopoulos is set to interview Winfrey for during the one-on-ones at her Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver shows.

Tickets for the show were sold for upwards of $450 each.
