Box office hits and hidden gems in 2013

One of the big reason for the year was the resurgence of comic book movies like The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises. Good Film Hunting.com’s Russel Lolacher says the trend looks to continue in 2013.
“The big one has to be Man of Steel. It’s got a newbie actor, you’ve probably never heard of playing the big man. The director who brought us The Watchmen and 300 as well as guidance from the guy who brought us the Dark Knight Trilogy. It looks amazing, the trailer actually makes you want to fly,” said Lolacher.
Man of Steel hitting the big screen on June 14th.
Lolacher says Iron Man 3 is another can’t miss on the comic book front.
If you like to laugh, Anchorman: The Legend Continues and This is the End with Jonah Hill and Seth Rogan are good bets.
Lolacher also believes there will be a hidden gem out next month.
“If you like the scary stuff, I suggest Warm Bodies. The heart warming tale of a girl, the apocolypse and a cute boy she likes, who just happens to be a member of the undead. It looks really funny. What else do you want from your romantic zombie movies?” said Lolacher.
Warm Bodies opens February 1.
