Witness in Levin trial faces own charges

The main witness in the prosecution of a Calgary psychologist Dr. Aubrey Levin facing sex assault charges has found himself in the prisoner’s box.

The man, who can’t be named, is facing charges of unlawful confinement and other allegations in connection with an incident at a hair salon in September.

Witnesses testify the man walked into the salon, locked the door behind him, and claimed the police were chasing him and he needed help.

One woman testified he began talking about how his psychiatrist allegedly sexually assaulted him, and that it was their turn to be sexually assaulted.

The Calgary Sun reports the man triggered an investigation into Levin when he took spy camera footage of some of his court ordered psychiatry sessions.
