The Calgary Parking Authority says it will likely be several more weeks before they have a better handle on the demand for parking in and around the city’s six new LRT stations.
The Manager of Parking enforcement Myles Dyck says right now only the 69th and Scirroco stations have park and ride lots with other riders having to find street parking in residential areas along the line.
Dyck says people who are interested in getting a reserved parking spot should call Calgary Transit.
He adds parking enforcement officers are following up parking complaints and will start issuing tickets to offenders starting next week.
