University of Calgary students are going to be shelling out more money to go to school.
Tuition will be pumped up by 2.15 per cent next school year and parking rates will be going up by 50 cents to $1-per-hour.
Some students say they’re not sure they could afford to pay an increase and are already struggling.
Vice President Dru Marshall says even with the increase, tuition is well below the average in Canada.
According to The Calgary Herald, the average U of C undergrad pays $5,238 in tuition, not including the cost of living expenses, transportation or books.
