A man in his early 20′s is dead following a reported four car collision on Highway 22.
EMS responded to the crash around 6:15 p.m. Thursday between Highway 1 and the town of Cochrane.
Reports indicate there were two separate collisions.
EMS’ Stuart Brideaux tells 660News the fatality occurred in the initial collision.
“The primary impact between two vehicles, which was suspected to be a head-on collision. From those two vehicles we did assess one gentleman in his early 20′s who was declared deceased at the scene.” says Brideaux.
Two men walked away with no injuries from the crash; one of those individuals is in RCMP custody.
A woman in her early 20′s, involved in the second crash, is in Foothills Hospital in serious but stable condition.
