Parents may need a back-up plan for their kids who take the bus to and from school.
The Calgary Board of Education has notified on their website, a bus driver shortage along with winter conditions, is leading to delays.
The board is also advising parents to check myschoolbusmonitor.ca or call carrier information lines about any updates on delays.
It also says children should never be left alone and they will not be penalized for a late bus.
The Catholic Board is out with a similar advisory, as there is also an effort to recruit new bus drivers to both First Student Canada and Southland Transportation.
