The victim of a shooting in Okotoks, allegedly at the hand of her ex-boyfriend, says it was her breast implants that saved her life.
Eileen Likness testified the bullet grazed her right arm before travelling through her surgically enhanced breasts and into her left arm.
Likness says the shot destroyed her implants but nothing else had to be stitched up.
The Calgary Sun reports the woman waited to recover from her wounds, but has undergone cosmetic surgery again.
Frank Chora is charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault with a weapon in the 2006 incident.
