Police are still searching for leads in a fatal shooting at a Martindale home Friday.

24-year-old Tariq Sikandar died of multiple gun shot wounds when two men forced their way inside the house and opened fire.

Another victim remains in hospital in stable condition, and police have yet to speak to him.

Sgt. Grant Miller says the only description they can give is that of two dark-skinned males wearing masks.

“We’re not aware of anyone else that saw these individuals, and again, there is, I think an emphasis on a public plea to come forward with information. We do believe that persons will have more information, and in this situation we certainly need it.”

Police believe the two victims were associates, and they suspect the house was involved in criminal drug activity, but they aren’t sure what the shooters’ specific motives were.
