New reports say Ryan Lane’s estranged girlfriend, her husband and his brother may be the three suspects facing murder charges in his death.

Police say they are close to making arrests after Lane’s skeletal remains were found.

The 24-year-old was last seen February 7th in the Country Hills Boulevard area; he was the subject of several searches in rural areas outside the city.  

The Calgary Sun reports not long before Lane vanished he had rekindled a relationship with his daughter, and friends say he received a cryptic phone call from someone offering to help him get custody.

Lane’s family is expected to make a public statement Friday.
