After being turned away Thursday morning from the lobby of the Royal York Hotel, staff appear to have had a change of heart.

Calgary Grey Cup Committee spokesman Brad Greenslade is thrilled.

The group has been invited to many buildings including the Bank of Montreal headquarters.

The long-standing Stampeders tradition of parading a horse through the lobby first began in the downtown Toronto hotel in 1948.
