Some of the who’s who in the political and university world’s are in Edmonton, talking about how Canadians perceive the common good.
Professor at the University of Alberta, Harvy Krahn, says Preston Manning, Michael Ignatieff and Stephane Dion will be discussing everything from energy development to taxation and fiscal justice.
“Well, it’s a general conversation about the way in which we do politics in Canada, the way we organize ourselves to try to build the kind of society that we want,” he says.
He says they will talk about how grass routes movements can shape government.
