It looks like Calgary is back in the saddle.
The Calgary Stampeders will have a horse on the sidelines for the Grey Cup, but it won’t be galloping around.
After much negotiation, rider Karyn Drake says she will only be able to remain in the corner and wave a flag while sitting on the horse.
Drake already has a horse in Ontario lined up for the job, as Quick Six will not be making the journey.
While disappointed she won’t be able to charge up and down the sidelines to celebrate a Stamps touchdown, she says just being there means a lot to the fans.
