Parents are upset a Calgary school bus driver who allegedly slammed on his brakes to discipline his unruly passengers is still driving students around.

The mother of one of the kids on the route in the southwest says she only found out about the incidents after her six-year-old said she was scared of her grumpy driver.

Jill Roberts says her daughter was happy one day when a substitute filled in; saying the new driver was nice and didn’t make them hit their heads on the seats.

The bus company, Southland Transportation, does not approve of those methods to get kids to behave, but the driver will continue to bus kids to school on a different route.

A company spokesperson tells The Calgary Sun they are keeping a stern eye on the driver.
