Calgary Police say $100,000 worth of merchandise was snatched up by thieves who crashed an SUV through Market Mall two weeks ago.
Police say surveillance footage has not been very helpful in coming up with a description of the suspects.
CPS say over 50 watches were snatched from ‘Jewels from Maxime’s’ and some of those watches were left lying in a stolen white Dodge Journey they found soon after.
Constable Darren Smith says they are looking to see if the other watches have been sold.
“We are looking at obviously Kijiji and the other sites that do sell property online, however at this point we haven’t been able to locate any of the watches or develop any leads from that,” he says.
Smith hopes if the public discovers any deal too good to be true, they will consider contacting police.
Police are also looking for a grey Dodge Caravan and a black truck that may have met up with the stolen SUV before it was ditched.
