A groping in Forest Lawn Friday morning has city police looking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
Just before 2:00 a.m. Friday morning, in the 6600 block of 4th Avenue southeast, a woman was walking when a man – believed to be 25 to 30 years old – struck up a conversation.
Calgary Police say the woman felt uncomfortable but before she could run, the man grabbed her in a bear hug and groped her.
Thankfully, the woman did escape and was not injured.
The suspect is described as caucasian, approximately 6-feet-tall with a slim build, with brown hair and was sporting a goatee.
At the time of the attack, it’s believed he was wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers or Calgary Police.
