One man is dead following a head-on crash oh Highway 22-X near Langdon.
Around 11:45 a.m. Saturday, on the highway at Range Road 275, EMS found the 50-year-old man trapped in his midsize car and listed in critical, life-threatening condition.
The Langdon Fire Department used the jaws of life to cut the man out of the vehicle and STARS Air Ambulance was dispatched to the site, but Ryan Collyer with EMS said it was too late.
“Due to the nature of the patient’s injuries, the patient did succumb and was pronounced dead on scene,” he said.
The driver of the other vehicle involved, a semi-truck, was not injured and it’s not clear how the collision happened.
