There is a larger than life Grinch at the Palliser Hotel in downtown Calgary, made entirely out of chocolate!

It took 40 hours to put together and Paul Peddle, Executive Chef at the hotel, says they put it up Tuesday and already, people are stopping by and taking pictures.

“It’s just a life size beautiful piece that really brings you back and it’s almost a welcoming to the Christmas season,” said Peddle.

He adds the Grinch is not made out of ‘bitter’ chocolate, instead white and dark chocolate and icing sugar while the chimney is gingerbread.

It sits in the lobby of the hotel.
