The McFarlane Clan of Calgary are certain their mother would be proud.
The family raised $36,000 toward the Pat McFarlane Cancer Research Foundation which, each October, hosts a silent auction and gala in the community of Varsity.
The combined seven-year total now tops $140,000 for cancer research.
Pat McFarlane succumbed to the disease after a courageous five-year battle.
The McFarlanes say they’re honoured to tell the world about the important gift they created for their mom and ultimately to help cure-finding cancer researchers.
