One of the largest Christmas craft markets will take place this weekend.

More than 17,000 people are expected at the Millarville Christmas Market which offers shopping, food, lights, bonfires and hay rides.

Manager Carmen Ditzler says it’s a chance to get one of a kind ornaments and decorations for the holiday season.

Kids can get their picture taken with Santa, with all proceeds going towards local youth groups.

The event runs Friday to Sunday at the Millarville Racetrack, 35 minutes southwest of Calgary near Hwy 22.
