A snowfall warning is in effect for Calgary.

Cold temperatures, wind and lots of snow is heading our way.

660News Meteorologist David Spence says we can expect some miserable winter conditions.

He predicts most of the snow, 10-15 centimetres, will be overnight.

Calgary will see 20-25 centimetres of snow into Friday.

There will be heavier amounts south of city, especially in Crowsnest Pass which is expecting up to 35 centimetres of snow.

The storm is going to move through Montana, spreading some snow northward into Southern Alberta.

Expect low temperatures, with strong winds, blowing snow, and wind chill.

Spence says if you don’t have to go anywhere, stay put, especially when the snow fall intensifies overnight.

Snowfall should wrap up by Saturday, but the weather will still be cloudy and cold.
