Calgary police are totaling the amount of jewellery stolen in a dramatic robbery Monday at Market Mall.

Investigators say the thieves, who smashed their way into the mall with a stolen SUV, made off with at least $100,000 worth of goods.

Staff Sgt. Dave Louie tells The Calgary Sun the robbers would have been in a rush.

Officers found a stolen Dodge Journey in a nearby community they believe was used in the heist.

Police are still looking for suspects.
